My name is Jim. I am 46 years old, very happily married and have 5 of the best step children anyone could ask for. On December 31st 2005 my life changed. I was in a very bad accident that left my back broken and a permanent disability. Since I have not been able to work or find work suitable I have lost nearly everything. We are struggling to get by, have amassed a huge amount of debt and don't have enough to get by on. I have been looking for any type of work I can still do but it is not easy to find someone that will take a chance on someone who is disabled. I also filed a claim and it was denied by Social Security. We are appealing. Does anyone know what I can do at this point? Can anyone lend us money? Can anyone keep us from loosing everything? Please let me know
